Based at a charming lodge in the quaint town of Bluff, we will explore world-famous Monument Valley, visit a traditional Navajo home, hike in the San Juan River canyon. This week is for the physically active adults. Program highlights include short class sessions, canyon day hikes each day (three to five miles round-trip) to prehistoric Indian cliff dwellings and rock art panels and to unusual geologic features and breathtaking overlooks. Full day van field trip to Valley of the Gods and the Navajos' Monument Valley; photographic opportunities are plentiful. Free time for sightseeing. Double occupancy with private bath and hot tub. Begins and ends in Bluff.
