A great trip that will be a gentle interaction with the outdoors. Join us and experience the paradox of this dry red rock country split by a shimmering ribbon of life-giving water. Experience the pleasures of sleeping under the stars and taking a turn in the inflatable kayaks if you choose.
You can expect pleasant temperatures and lovely fall light. We might get a short thunderstorm to provide drama and colorful sunset.
We provide delicious and creative, healthy meals for meat eaters and vegetarians alike and purchase locally as much as possible. You just need to bring your own tent and sleeping bag and pad though we have high quality rentals available. Our trips are "participatory" in nature; you are included in camp life and try your hand at dutch oven cooking!
Call if you have questions regarding the nature of the activity and comfort. We have hosted a variety of ages and groups (schools, Elderhostel, board groups, etc.). With a balanced focus on learning and fun, our pace allows for plenty of time to explore, learn, enjoy solitude and relax.
