Guides: Professional Certification & Licensing Courses

These courses are based in downtown Moab, Utah. Enrollment is limited and these programs fill quickly. Lodging and meals are on your own. Two year certification including CPR. Contact Wilderness Medicine Institute directly for information about schedule and location for full WFR and EMT classes and about recerting from another provider. Deposits are non-refundable unless we cancel the course; final payment due 30 days prior and not refundable after the 30 day deadline.

Westwater Whitewater River Rescue - Active hands-on training in risk management
COURSE OPEN for 2008

April 4 - 6, 2008
Fee: $380, Deposit: $125, balance due 30 days prior; fees include boats, shuttles, meals, support, river use fees. Deposit non-refundable unless you fill your spot. Class session in Moab followed by overnight Westwater Canyon river trip.

For commercial guide, private boater, field biologist, emergency & ranger personnel. Previous river running experience required.
