This is an exciting opportunity for kids between the ages of 10 and 12 to participate in an awesome learning adventure during the summer. This ecology summer camp is for kids who want to be active, have fun and learn about our amazing backyard La Sal Mountains and Colorado River.
Nature games, easy hikes, stories, art and more fun hands-on science activities take a look at stream life, animals, rocks and fossils, Indians and pioneer tales. This is the REAL WORLD not just the video!
This week is limited to 12 chidren. Starts 9 am at CFI and returns 4:45pm at CFI. Parents pick up children at 5:00.
Each youth brings own lunch; CFI provides snacks, water, transportation, agency permits and two excellent Naturalist-Guide instructors! CFI is a licensed permitted outfitter on the Colorado River. We conduct school outdoor education programs in spring and fall for schools from around the country. For scholarship/sliding fee information and to register contact CFI, 259-7750.
