Outdoor Adventures for Adults & Families

Welcome to Bluff, Utah, located in south-eastern Utah, along the banks of the San Juan River, and 94 miles south of Moab. This remote, small picturesque town along Highway 191 offers travelers a place of beauty and simplicity and is a little more than an hours drive from numerous National Monuments, a National Park and Recreation Area, Navajo Tribal areas and other scenic attractions. The town has a population of approximately 300 and offers a variety of lodging; historic inns, bed and breakfasts and standard motels. There are restaurants and cafes, a small grocery/general store (which sells beer), a post office, laundromat, LDS and Episcopal church services, and several fine trading posts which sell quality American Indian arts and crafts. Bluff does not have a medical center, bank (although there is a bank machine), drugstore, or liquor store. Monticello, Utah (48 miles north) has a liquor store open from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The nearest medical facility is in Blanding (26 miles north).
