How do I get to Moab from Salt Lake City?

There are a number of options that you and your group can utilize to get to Moab. Group size and itinerary can easily be matched with your budget and comfort needs.

Car & Van Rental: There an abundant number of car and van rental services in the Salt Lake area. Tourism is a major part of Utah’s economy, and as a result many car rental agencies offer very competitive pricing and bargains. Please look at your respective car rental agency’s policies regarding restrictions and discounts.

Enterprise

  • 1.     Rental available @ SLC airport.
  • 2.     For a minivan, you are looking at about $330 for one week.
  • 3.     1,400 free miles, $0.20 for each additional mile after that ( round trip, it is roughly 470 miles between SLC and Moab)

Avis

  • 2.     A week’s rental on a 7 passenger mini-van is about $465.
  • 3.     A week’s rental on a 12 passenger van is about $765 miles.
  • 4.     Unlimited miles on both.

  • 1.     Location is 5 minutes away from SLC airport; however Rugged offers a courtesy shuttle free of charge.
  • 2.     For a 15 passenger van, a week’s rental is about $860.
  • 3.     1,400 miles free, $0.25 per additional mile.

  • 1.     Rental available @ SLC airport.
  • 2.     A week’s rental on a 7 passenger mini-van is about $450.

Shuttle Services: Several companies offer shuttle services between Salt Lake and Moab. These services are reasonably priced. Most can accommodate large groups with an advance notice.
