Enjoy nature and rock art hikes with CFI Naturalist-Guides. We offer half day and full day tours with short walks, and can adjust the outing to your interests and physical abilities. We’re also great with kids! Join us for an Arches National Park tour or for a prehistoric rock art tour around the Moab area. You’ll learn about the area’s history, geology, plants and animals, and care of America’s parks and public lands. Weekend tours are scheduled every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May through October except during CFI’s summer closure in late July. CFI will provide water and snacks on tours, any agency fees, as well as air-conditioned transportation.
Group size on each trip is limited to 10 people. We run these scheduled tours even if there’s only one participant. If your group is larger than 10, please call us or see Full Day Custom Trips to arrange a special outing just for your group.
PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATION by calling CFI office 435-259-7750 or email by 6 p.m. the night prior for the next morning’s Rock Art Tour or by noon for that evening’s Arches National Park Tour.
All scheduled Half Day Tours meet and end at the Moab Information Center (back porch veranda), in downtown Moab, at the corner of Center and Main. You may park here, or walk or take a taxi from your lodging. Consider visiting the Museum of Moab before or after your tour with CFI (www.moabmuseum.org for current hours of operation, small entrance fee applies).
Full Day Tours
Scheduled Nature & Culture Seminars and Van Tours for Adults and Families – Moab Area, Canyonlands, and Arches National Park
Visiting the Moab Area and looking for a full day of activities? Join us Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from May through October except during CFI’s summer closure in late July. Additional dates are available with 14 days notice.
Enjoy a custom nature and rock art van tour or hike with CFI Naturalist-Guides. We can adjust the day to your interests and physical abilities and we’re great with kids! You can pay a visit to Arches National Park or various Colorado River side canyons with sandstone wonders and lush stream life, mountain views and wildflowers. CFI provides water and snacks on tours as well as air-conditioned transportation.
We also offer scheduled SPECIAL TOPIC SEMINARS on wildflowers and wildlife which are scheduled on Saturdays.
Group size on our weekend Day Tours is limited to 10 people. If your group is larger than 10, give us a call and we can work with you to plan a special day for your group.
