Visiting the Moab Area? Join us Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, May through late October (except last week July) Additional dates are available with 14 days notice.

Enjoy nature and rock art hikes with CFI Naturalist-Guides. We can adjust the day to your interests and physical abilities and we’re great with kids! Visit Arches National Park or various Colorado River side canyons with sandstone wonders and lush stream life, mountain views and wildflowers.
CFI provides water and snacks on tours as well as air-conditioned transportation.

Group size on our weekend Half Day Tours  is limited to 10 people. If your group is larger than 10, please see our Full Day Custom Tours to plan a special day for your group.

Half-Day Tours

Scheduled Nature and Culture Half Day Tours for Adults and Families

Enjoy nature and rock art hikes with CFI Naturalist-Guides. We can adjust the outing to your interests and physical abilities and we’re great with kids! Visit Arches National Park or various Prehistoric rock art sites around Moab. We cover area history, geology, plants and animals, and care of America’s Parks & Public Lands. These are vehicle tours with short walks. These weekend tours are scheduled every weekend mid April through late October except for a break/closure in late July. CFI will provide water and snacks on tours, any agency fees, as well as air-conditioned transportation.

Group size on each trip is limited to 10 people. We run these scheduled tours even if there’s only one participant. If your group is larger than 10, please see Full Day Custom Trips to arrange a special outing just for your group.

PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATION by calling CFI office 435-259-7750 or email by 6 p.m. the night prior to the next morning Rock Art Tour or by noon for that day’s evening Arches Tour.

All scheduled Half Day Tours meet and end at the Moab Information Center (back porch veranda), in downtown Moab, corner of Center and Main. You may park here, walk or take a taxi from your lodging. Consider visiting the Museum of Moab before or after your tour with CFI (www.moabmuseum.org for current hours of operation, small entrance fee applies).
