  • Time: Begins 8:30 a.m. Monday and ends 5:00 p.m. Thursday

  • Age Group: Students entering grades 5-8
  • Cost per Person: $150/per person - Students in Grand Co. Schools

  • CFI and USU host the Moab Spring Break Camp, Sustainable You!, for learning and fun: explore local waterways, learn about how to take care of our environment. This camp that allows kids the opportunity to determine what we need to survive and how we can improve our environment in a fun and interactive way. From exploring our local waterways to investigating the ways we travel, kids will develop a sense of place, empowerment and positive hope for the future of our natural environment.

Teen River Skills Day Camp

Raft, Paddle, and SUP the Colorado River this summer!

  • Where: Colorado River from Hittle Bottom to BLM takeout
  • When: July 07, 2015 through July 09, 2015
  • Number of Days/Nights: 3 Days
  • Time: 8:30am - 5:00pm each day
  • Group Size: Min 6 and Max 11
  • Age Group: Entering 7th through 12th grades
  • Cost per Person: $200 per youth ($150 for youths attending Grand County School District*)
  • Deposit: $25
  • Deadline for Signup: 7 calendar days prior to trip date.
  • The Teen River Skills Day Camp is summer learning adventure for teens entering 7th-12th grades. In the heat of the summer, spend 3 awesome days paddling and rowing on the Colorado River. CFI’s experienced Naturalist Guides will teach kids to navigate whitewater rivers, practice river reading skills, and learn how to row a raft or paddle a ducky. This is a hands-on experience using paddle boats and inflatable kayaks. We'll cover basic river safety, river rescue, maneuvering different types of boats, ethics for river travel, and have fun swimming in the river’s milder sections!

A Wilderness Adventure Summer Camp for Students Entering Grades 9 through 12 - Bates Wilson Youth Camp

  • Number of Days/Nights: 3 Days, 2 Nights
  • Group Size: Minimum 6 and Maximum 12
  • Age Group: Students entering grades 9-12

  • Weekend wilderness adventure summer camp in Canyonlands NP. For students in grades 9-12 sponsored by Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks and CFI Moab. The second annual Bates Wilson Youth Camp will be held in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. We are inviting students entering grades 9 through 12 with interests in national parks, conservation, outdoor education, geology, cultural history, public policy, or careers in the National Park Service or other public land agencies, but especially students who love learning in nature and having fun!

La Sal Mountains Explorer Base Camp
