Joel volunteers his time to CFI for this special outing to share his love of the plant world (the “superior kingdom”) and to help raise scholarship funds for CFI School programs.

Linda WhithamFormer NPS field biologist Linda Whitham spent six years in area parks conducting floristic studies and freshwater system monitoring; spent nine years leading ecology and wildflower hikes in the Rocky Mountains; and has taught courses on the ecology of the Colorado Plateau. She is currently program manager for The Nature Conservancy overseeing rare plant preserves, managing the Matheson Wetlands Preserve and co-leading the Escalante River Watershed Partnership.
