Colorado River Rafting

Experience the beauty of flat water canyons or exciting whitewater while exploring one of the West’s most renowned rivers.  The Colorado River offers excellent hiking, wildlife viewing and fascinating geologic and cultural history.

Loma, Colorado to Cisco, Utah – Horsethief, Ruby & Westwater Canyons

  • Grades 9 & up
  • Class I-III Rapids
  • Proposed Wilderness Study Area
  • Precambrian Geology and Rock Art
  • Hikes, Wildlife & Water Issues

15 – 25 Participants: $560 + $20 BLM Fee/person

School group size limit including chaperones: 15 minimum/25 maximum

This stretch can be done as 2 Nights but is best in 3 Nights to allow time
for extensive cultural/geology side hikes, study activities and student involvement.

San Juan River Rafting

Upper Canyon – Journey through time and explore the rich history of the Southwest by river. This wonderful scenic float includes mild rapids and extensive prehistoric Indian rock art and dwellings.

Bluff, Utah to Mexican Hat, Utah – Upper Canyon
