Naturalist-River and
Land Tour Guide

Seasonal with experience and Utah river guide license.
We continually accept guest guide resumes for both land based and river programs.  Guest river guides should not apply unless they have a current Utah River Guide license, current medical certificates and be familiar with CFI stretches of river. Guest land tour guides should be well versed as “generalists” about the Colorado Plateau with an area of expertise in one: desert ecology, cultural history/anthropology or public lands issues and have current medical certificates.
Apprentice Naturalist-
River Guide/Assistant
Guide:
 Seasonal.
Filled for 2014. Please apply for 2015 by December 15, 2014.
Mid March through last week in October work contract.For anyone new to CFI, our stretches of river, operations and curriculum, we ask you take the six week Apprentice training program which would be followed by employment as Assistant Naturalist-River Guide.You must have completed medical certifications by time of application or proof of enrollment in course to finish by March 14. See description for details.
450 Hour AMERICORPS:
Field Camp Operations Assistant
Please apply for 2015 SPRING by December 15, 2014.Position runs early April through mid June, This is 450 hours. State host is Utah Conservation Corps but APPLY DIRECTLY TO CFI by email or mail.
